Is Kamala Harris President?

On September 25, 2024, The View hosted President Biden live.

This interview contained a section that went over details of his not seeking reelection. During this section, President Biden blatantly says he delegated everything to her.

Authority was not just delegated to Kamala Harris; but also to the Secretary of State, Secretary of the Treasury, Secretary of Defense, Attorney General, Secretary of Commerce, Secretary of Homeland Security and the Director of National Intelligence. They all received Presidential authority on July 24th and July 25th. Since all of President Biden’s authority is delegated; then he isn’t the President, right?

Broadcast LIVE on September 25, 2024 – President Joe Biden on The View

I transcribed the section where this verbiage was used:

Sara: So Mr. President, it was only two months ago that you decided to step aside from seeking re-election putting your country first above any personal ambition. And passing the torch to the Vice President. You passed the torch to Vice President Kamala Harris. What have these past two months felt like, and are you at peace with your decision?

President Biden: I am at peace with my decision. Look, when I ran for the last term, I said that I was – I saw myself as a transition President. Transition to a new generation of leadership. Now I know I only look 40, but, I’m 180 years old. I’ve been around forever, but what happened was, we were having so much success in getting things done that people thought we couldn’t get done, I found myself having used more time than I would have ordinarily to, you know, pass that torch, but working with Kamala, she is bright, she is tough, she is honorable, and the thing I like about her, and the thing we share in common we have an optimistic view of the future here. There’s nothing we can’t do. I mean, there really isn’t. Anyway, but that’s what happened, and so finally I decided that it was better, and I said – I meant what I said. It was the greatest honor in the world sitting behind the resolute desk as President of the United States — and I loved it, but it sounds corny, but I love my country more.

Sunny: Mr. President, the Vice President has been working hard to get her message out to voters, and she’s been drawing large crowds. You know, crowds are a thing for some people. There is momentum among Democrats.

President Biden: As long as you count right.

Sunny: There is momentum among Democrats that we’re seeing. As the only person who has ever beaten Trump, what advice have you given the Vice President about how to win?

President Biden: Be herself. Look, she is smart as hell, she’s tough, she was a first rate prosecutor, she was a United States Senator, of significant consequence, and as Vice President there wasn’t a single thing that I did that she couldn’t do, and so I was able to Delegate to her responsibility on everything from foreign policy to domestic policy.
