Celebrate the 114th birthday of one of the most beloved children’s authors – Dr. Theodor Seuss Geisel.
- Craft Making – make a hat like the Cat’s to wear throughout the day at the Museum and enjoy once you return home
- Celebrate Dr. Seuss’s Birthday – create your own greeting to honor this special day and share it on our Dr. Seuss Birthday board.
- Dr. Seuss Reading Room – share some quiet time in a comfortable chair with a child exploring the books of Dr.
Seuss. - Learn more about Dr. Seuss – through worksheets and other activities related to Dr. Seuss and your favorite characters.
- Photo opportunities – there will be multiple chances throughout the day to take your photo at special Dr. Seuss
inspired stations.
- Access to the Museum’s Exhibitions
- Trumpets, Weird and Wonderful: Treasures from the National Music Museum
- Mega Model Trains – on view for this special Family Fun Day
- Murtogh D. Guinness Collection of Mechanical Musical Instruments and Automata
