Expanding Seed Starting Soil Pods

Indeed.com – Postings Real?

How many job postings on Indeed.com are even real? I am currently employed full time; but always troll job postings for better hours and more pay. I have applied for quite a large number of jobs thru Indeed.com and have never landed an interview. I get rejected with no explanation and the jobs I have applied for still exist in their listings.

If these listings are real, 1) companies should state reasons for the rejection. How else is one able to improve their cover letter / resume? 2) If the position has truly been filed, the posting should be removed.

Everyone thinks that spring is the time for planting seeds but plants have it all figured out. Many plants drop seeds in the fall— this gives seeds the chance to get used to the cold of winter and gives both birds and mammals opportunity to cache seeds for winter.  It’s also the perfect time for people to look for seeds, too, in this month’s photo scavenger hunt, “Seedy Business.”

Register here.

  • Date: Friday, September 30th
  • Time: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Location: Frelinghuysen Arboretum, 353 East Hanover Avenue, Morris Township, 07960.
  • Cost: $10 per family or group of 6.
  • Contact: Preregistration is required. For more info, call 973-326-7601.
