#Denville! Our Denville Public Library now has Morris Museum Passes! Do you have your Library Card? Get one! This was a Brilliant idea!
Museum Pass Program
The Denville Public Library offers museum passes FREE of charge to Denville Residents to the following museums:
- The Grounds for Sculpture – admission for upto four (4) people
- Imagine That!!! – admission for up to four (4) people
- The Intrepid Sea and Air Space Museum – admission for up to six (6) people
Frequently Asked Questions
Who may borrow a pass?
Adults with a Denville Library card in good standing with no outstanding fines or fees may borrow Museum passes. Passes can only be picked up by the person who made the reservation. Passes may not be picked up by other family members. Museum reservation form must be filled out at the Denville Public Library by the Denville Library Cardholder.
Loan Period
Passes are loaned for three days. One pass per household at any given time. Passes may NOT be renewed.
How Do I reserve a pass?
Call or come into the Denville Library and stop at the Circulation Desk. You must have your Library Card present to reserve a pass.
How often may I reserve a pass?
You may reserve one pass per museum per 30 day period. During Denville School vacation periods you may be limited to a maximum number of pass reservations during a specific week. Only one pass may be reserved per family for the same day.
Can I cancel my reservation
Pass reservations may be canceled up to one day in advance over the phone or in person. If a pass has already been picked up, it must be returned to the Denville Public Library upon cancelling the reservation.
When may I pick up my reserved pass?
You may pick up your pass either the day before your reservation or the day of your reservation. You MUST have your library card in order to pick up a museum pass.
When and how must I return a pass?
Museum Passes must be returned to the Denville Library on the next day that the Library is open. Passes may NOT be left in the book drop. Museum passes must be handed to a staff member.
What if I return it late or if I lose it?
If passes are not returned on time, the fine per day is $5.00. In the case of a lost pass, patrons will be charged for a new pass at the current rate of membership.

Passes cover admission fees but not special events/exhibits. Please call the museum for specifics.

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) / Paramedic
The Morris County Office of Emergency Management – Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is currently accepting applications for certified and experienced Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and/or Paramedics to join our EMS team.
The EMT/Paramedic will be responsible for leading, directing, and participating in the delivery of Basic Life Support (BLS) and working in partnership with Advanced Life Support (ALS) teams in a pre-hospital setting. Ideal candidates will remain calm under pressure, exercise good judgment, and make sound decisions while dealing with emergency situations.
Candidates should have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Candidates should have the ability to multi-task and have proficient keyboard entry skills. Bilingual applicants are highly desirable.
EMS selection process:
- Eligibility Verification – Application, resume, certification/document submission.
- Possess a current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification issued by the New Jersey Department of Health and meet the eligibility requirements for the Emergency Medical Technician job specification as outlined by the New Jersey Civil Service Commission.
- Possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license.
- Qualifying applicants will be contacted to complete the Morris County OEM/EMS Realistic Job Preview along with the written examination, physical assessment, and EMS-BLS multiple-station scenario-based practical examination testing date.
- Successful completion of the above will provide applicants with an opportunity to participate in the interview process.
Note: Applicants who possess a higher level of certification such as Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic, or Mobile Intensive Care Registered Nurse Certification, issued by the New Jersey Department of Health, are considered to have met the EMT certification requirement listed above.
Position requires graduation from HS or equivalent, New Jersey residency, willingness to work shifts on a rotating basis including holidays and weekends, prior experience in 911 EMS response, and completion of a criminal background check. All candidates must successfully complete all aspects of the hiring process.
Starting salary is commensurate with experience and certifications within the range of $18.00 – $22.95 per hour.
