The Denville Police Department is seeking your help in locating a missing person:

Tyler Jase Bautista, age 14; Asian male; 5’2″ tall; weight 100lbs; black, straight hair, last seen wearing a black t-shirt with “Rock & Roll” printed on front, dark blue shorts with a white stripe on the sides and blue sneakers with a red stripe.

Last seen: Morris Catholic Hight School at 9:30 am this morning (08/07/2018).

Happy Birthday Disney Cast Member, Wayne Knight! #FollowTheBall

 

August 7, 1955, comedic actor, Wayne Knight was born.

Disney cast member, Wayne Knight, is the voice behind many of Disney’s animated characters including Al McWhiggin (the toy collector) in both Toy Story & Toy Story 2, adult Tantor in Tarzan, and Demetrius the Pot Maker in Hercules. He is also the voice of Emperor Zurg in TV episodes of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. TV viewers will remember Knight for his comedic role of Newman the frenetic mailman on Seinfeld.

It’s almost here! Our first ever National Night Out event is this Tuesday, August 7th, beginning at 6pm! The event will take place in the back parking lot of police headquarters and on field 7 of Gardner Field. The scheduled events include:

The 2018 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

 


It’s that time of year! The 2018 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.

The festival events including celebrity chef demonstrations, Eat to the Beat dining packages, Party for the Senses grand tasting experiences, beverage and cheese seminars and other fun events go on sale.

The festival’s 23rd year runs from August 30 to November 12, 2018.

Celebrity chefs this year include new stars like Cooking Channel host Tiffani Thiessen and Richard Blais, along with returning favorites like Alex Guarnaschelli, Robert Irvine, Masaharu Morimoto, Buddy Valastro, Art Smith and Carla Hall and many others.

Brand new events to this year’s festival include:

    • Sunday Brunch with the Chef: Start your day in the most delicious way at a two-hour event including a brunch buffet and featuring a distinguished culinary television personality.  While enjoying a meal inspired by some of our VIP guest’s favorite dishes, attendees will be part of an in-depth question-and-answer session featuring kitchen tips, tricks and insights. Finally, foodies are in for a fabulous pièce de résistance: a sparkling wine toast and an exclusive meet-and-greet photo opportunity with our celebrated gourmet guest.

 

  • Food & Beverage Pairing: Learn from the pros at these 45-minute sessions, held each Friday to Sunday. Enjoy a collaboration between the featured chef and beverage presenter, pick up a few tips and best of all – taste the demonstrated dish and beverage pairing.

We also have confirmed five additional acts for the 2018 Eat to the Beat concert series. Newcomers Canadian country artist High Valley (“She’s With Me”) and pop artist Vertical Horizon (“Everything You Want”) will delight Epcot guests at the America Gardens Theatre along with returning favorites Smash Mouth, Kenny G and Plain White T’s.

Family fun activities will abound during the festival, including the return of Remy’s Ratatouille Hide ‘n’ Squeak scavenger hunt, and new offerings like an interactive playground, a character dance party on Friday and Saturday evenings and a new Junior Chef Kitchen program offered every Sunday and designed with kids in mind.

Denville PD – Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week

The Denville Police Department is investigating a recent string of motor vehicle burglaries in the Township. In addition, several surrounding towns are also investigating motor vehicle burglaries which may be related. As part of the investigation, video surveillance was obtained of a possible suspect. These motor vehicle burglaries have been identified as the Morris County Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week (see attached flyer). Anyone who can identify the suspect in the photographs is asked to contact Morris County Crime Stoppers at 973-Cop-Call. Information leading to an arrest may result in a reward of up to $1,000.

We would once again like to take this opportunity to remind everyone to always lock your vehicle whenever it is left unattended, even in your driveway. Also, please remove any valuables and never leave your keys in the vehicle.
